Its a beuti :4_17_5:
-
:) Looking good! You must have a seriously tolerant wife!

I think the one's i am after are like the early box 1st gen profile crank, but i am useless with names. mark will say what ones they are if he reads this post, and if he remembers our numerous chats. mind you i think i Bord him silly ( no disrespect intended mark :daumenhoch:) as i have been a little obsessed with this, his Pro star is so nice :smitten:
-
Hey Steve, it's falling into place bit by bit, nearly there
:daumenhoch:
You've done a lovely job on restoring that frame, you wouldn't think it was the same one, give me some tips!
The cranks you were after are similar to the 2nd ones in this link......

I can see the student loan's taken a pounding...ouch;)

That is a stunner !
HUTCH's done in black and chrome is just gorgeous I could look at em all day :4_17_5:
-
Nice mate very nice - im not normally a chrome and black sort of person but Hutch's always fall out of that category!!!
-
Looks spot on mate - love it :daumenhoch:
-
That is top notch Steve! :4_17_5:

Cheers all for your comments, i do love this bike, its the one i have always wonted to do when i 1st joined rad and saw mark j's one and the memories came flooding back. still bits and bobs to do to get it spot on but the thats bike building i think :daumenhoch:

looks nice steve, would have been better with pro racer decals though.Aerospeed pro stars weren't pre serial. I could have sold you a serial numbered one for more authenticity. it's gone now, the way of the leary. Looks sweet though. What happened to 'i won't spend big bucks on hutch parts though' :LolLolLolLol: that went out the window. I have the one part that most(or nearly all) of these pro star build attempts don't have. The proper Tange chromed alloy headset. you could get away with a chrome 320, but the proper chromed alloy are very very rare. (not for sale BTW). when you coming round for it's little brother? it's been here a while now. Good job you didn't but a JMC too  you'd be gettin a divorce by now. :LolLolLolLol:
nice to see you built it proper.
jt ;)

Hi Mate, these are the cranks i want to get, Pre aero, not aero speeds
(http://www.radbmx.co.uk/archive/albums/jj275/stevebeechaTA/HutchPreAero7.jpg)
And i have built it to this, i have the full spec somewhere. and you are right i do need the Tange chromed alloy headset. ::)

Its not to far of though

Like it Steve. :4_17_5: Its nice when someone goes all out to do it right. You gotta get that headset now! :LolLolLolLol:
I could never attempt a Hutch. Would like to but they are expensive for what they are.
Well done mate.
-
Absolutely stunning mate :smitten: ........inspirational.........I want one........my next build for sure......after i've finished my VDC changa, my Profile Pro Champ, my Retro Ripper, my Zeronine Pro XL.........I think ive got a bit of a problem with all this BMX lark :idiot2: :LolLolLolLol:
