Title: Diamondback frame, buy or not?
Post by: ciaoflyer on September 17, 2008, 04:37 PM
Hi

Got the chance to buy a DB frame with no forks.  Its chrome with Cantilever Brakes, not sure of year, I think the guy wants about £20, worth a purchase?

I'd say no to be honest, but it depends what it is you want to build and what you want to do with it.

From the sounds of it you might be paying £20 to save the bloke a trip to the tip - a picture might help get more feedback if you have to post?

I reckon that's a plan - decent quality and a brand new 80s frameset for less than 50 notes. Instead of rusty old cack of a dubious quality for £20.

In these economically turbulent times I think making sure you know what you get for your cash is the best policy  :daumenhoch:
