i ran one of them on the front just before the brake plate revolution took off. a mate involved in mtb used a stiffener plate and cabled tied and bolted to the forks. so i got one off him. wish i still had it as worked amazing. it was on a big daddy i had stolen around 98. :knuppel2:

Hinged seat clamp. I know I've got one, it came off of Andy B.'s old Haro Sport, he used to run one on the seatpost under the plate.
Probably lurking somewhere amongst the spiderwebs in a corner of the shed, or in an old jar of bits & bobs.
And those brakes are amazing, but I can't use mine as the posts on my frames are all on the chainstays. How did you manage to make one work on the front?
-
like so.
this was my chrome se made big daddy back in 1993/94.

brake lasted for years, S&M heavy as f**k, chrome big daddy, khe catweazle, red big daddy (thicker dropouts) which got nicked.

Sorry to get sidetracked with the Shimanos, but I tried doing that and found the angles just didn't give enough pull and the cable was rubbing on the groove on top of one arm. Would've worked better if one side or the other was elevated, but I never found a satisfactory way to do it.
Might try again, black rims not being too great a surface if you want brakes that bite properly.
