I ride a We The People Beyond and find that the cassette hub is a piece of shite(it keeps bloody slipping),the wheel in general does not feel that great.
Riding vert i feel it flexes and slows me down although i have 115psi + the spokes are tight.Had enough of this wheel so im after something that wont flex and the hub wont slip.Even thinking about going for a 48 as not bothered about the weight issue.
Anyone rec a good complete wheel to buy?Im told you have to pay around £150+ for a decent wheel?Was'nt looking to pay that much but guess ill have to if it will solve the problem,

Looked everywhere and seems that cassette hubs are pricey things.You should be able to get a complete wheel for under £150 though-Alans have a complete Odyssey wheel for £140.I know people who probably have every brand of cassette hub between them,and they all have differing opinions on each brand.Good quality spokes and a good wheelbuilder can also make a difference.Sorry I`m not much help,but I`m sure people on here will be able to give you a heads up on what to buy/avoid.

Mark - is the chain tight?
I had a similar problem with chain slipping and the chain wasn't tight enough - it has either stretched or hadn't put the wheel back in properly.
Flexing in the wheel just means you need to stop hammering it so hard!!! :2funny:

dont bother with the odd cassette they also skip and if u run ur chain tight they end up blowing the driver bearings, wait a few months (for the 48 hole, 36 hole will be sooner) for the new gsport hub, this uses needle bearings in the driver so u can run a tight chain without the bearings blowing up and has been designed to eliminate skipping and can be used for lhd and rhd with no other parts needed
