The BIRMINGHAMWHEELS BMX track is going to be REBUILT. It is part done already. I just spoke to a guy called Mark who I had a long chat with. They are waiting for Bham city council to put their hands in their pockets and get things sorted. Apparently the British Cycling foundation are ready and up for it as soon as the council say yes.
Lookin at a big set up with changing facilities and floodlights drainage etc.
Brilliant news for me cus I live in Birmingham..
Brilliant opportunity for your very nice bike to relive its memories !!!
membership forms will be out as soon as go ahead. They are lookin at startin at the end of Feb, but that depends on how things evolve.
He said already 60 people are interested in membership etc.
You could give them a ring, I guess the more interest the better for persuasion !!
