Title: Cranks
Post by: Voodoocars on October 12, 2008, 01:37 PM
I fancy getting some new cranks for my bike. Primo hollowbites with titanium spindle or  possibly Macneil conjoined.I want the lightest I can get. Anyone know the weight differences between various cranks? I've also looked at Snafu 13 cranks. What do you lot reckon?

Mmm... Thats what I thought.I would imagine that they are lighter than others when a Ti spindle is used.

T'wombolts did cross my mind cause of the lack of fixing on one side.I did hold a steel salt crank arm like what is on my bike and a hollowbite arm and the weight difference was amazing. It would be interesting to compare Primos against ,say, a profile arm or whatever as they would be lighter than the salt.I also like the chunky look of primos.
