Title: stripping down brake calipers

permatex gasket remover or nitromors will remove the paint. to get them apart just twist the black stopper on the front its attached to a nut underneath and will allow you to take the arms off the spindle

p.s. youve put this in the stickies section of the resto board so you might want to get it moved. as it aint really a stickies topic mate

rite guys managed to get the rear caliper apart but not the front as when i try to undo the nut the whole spindal turns any ideas of how to get this undone would be great thanks cheers scott :daumenhoch:

Get some grips mate and hold the back of the spindle, then you should be able to unscrew the front :daumenhoch:
