Title: FAVOURITE RIDERS FROM BACK WHEN

Who were your childhood heros in BMX , the ones you aspired to be like ? .

RACING - Greg Hill ( I got a GT Pro Santa Ana because of seeing him in magazines & on covers being so dominant in 82/83 ) .

Post by: OrgasmDonor on October 18, 2008, 06:31 PM: i had no interest in famous riders at all BITD i just used to enjoy riding, saying that i did know who greg hill was as i had a GHP, but the only rider that i ever took notice of was sid salisbury (spelling?) there was one picture i saw of him, possible a gt test and i thought he was cool as fook!

I remember sids jumping was amazing he did a demo at one of the holeshot comps 85 or 86 did loads of jumps off a trick ramp to flat it was mental.

I'm just surprised that so little people on here had BMX heros/favourites/icons or inspirational figures bitd ! :LolLolLolLol:

I guess unless the thread has about bumming in it they're not interested ! ( on an old school bmx site as well ) ::) .
