-
didnt they make a platformed frame to similar to the old standard lengthy. think they were pretty cool to. were heavy tools a run by khe? i remember that they were always alot like the chrome catweasle in build and used to kome with fat bob bars and lamello tyres.
-

I picked this up VERY cheap if anyone is after one...
-
not for me. but tht wouldnt make a bad little project with some fresh powder and the right parts :daumenhoch:
-
i remember Heavy Tools, I remember someone I rode with having a Ruler, or maybe it was me that had it, I doubt it thou. I actually find it abit hard to remember all the frames I had bitd :(
-
i had a ruler frame and forks was nice chrome well made frame but typically 90s as heavy as fook
-
The chrome would clean up fine on it TBH, the forks that came with it did...
Anyhoo, it's here if anyone fancies a little build.
-
I had a Screamer, very good frame and still going strong with another owner. No complaints whatsoever, other than it not being very lightweight. Only reason I got rid of it was to thin down the herd.
-
those look pretty cool. look a bit like standards :daumenhoch:
-
one of the original bristol cider riders used to ride for them- ira rainey.
-

ahh you killing me lol. is that 2 copies you have??
-
Dave, what you have there is the Heavy Tools Screamer frame. Screamers came with a platform, the Ruler did not. However they also did a Heavy Tools complete bike, that had a frame like the Screamer but wasnt full cromo - so ther is always the poss that yours is the cheaper complete bike frame - cant remember what it was called, in fact I think it may not have even had a name - just was the Heavy Tools complete -
good old standard copies!
-
Thanks Steve
Right then, who wants it?
Free. Just pay postage.
Get it out of my way.
Please.

Looking at the graphic on the seattube, I'd go with Screamer. Think mine had one similar.
I'll pass, enough unused spare frames already.
-
No probs. Going down the tip today.
-
dont send it to the tip!!! No frame deserves that! rattle can spray it and stick it on ebay. And if you dont want to buy the paint, spend the dosh on postage and send it to me - i'll do something with it!
