Title: How to fit plegs?
Post by: Midlife! on October 18, 2008, 11:22 PM
Some help please boys.......

Got a couple of plegs to try but the nuts are 19mm on 14mm axles. The socket wont fit inside the metal insert of the pleg to tighten up the nut. Can I get 17mm nuts for 14mm axles?

as above use 17mm nuts or personally id throw the plegs in the bin, i had a set and even when u rotate them like george french says to minimise wear they only lasted a couple of months not a year like he said they can last upto :tickedoff: :tickedoff:  and i only used them on a mini ramp

Found some 18's at a local bike shop :daumenhoch:

I've left the washer between the peg and the drop out  ??? Right or wrong?
