New School Bottom Brackets; what is the differnece between the ones you see in bike specifications called 'spanish' and 'mid'?

Mid is the sealed bearing units from a US bb, they press fit direct into the frame, rather than into cups and then into the frame.

Spanish is the same but slightly smaller.

Lovely.  Ta very much. 

Been sniffing out new school deals at Winstanleys and my BB knowledge extends to OPC and Shimano Cartridge/ old TPCs.

No problem...but don't be sniffing out new school deals at Winstanleys!!!! Sniff them out at the RADBMX shop...let me know what you're after buddy and we will sort.

Best I can for aboot £170-£200...Blank Slate £170, DK 8-Pack £180, DK 6 Pack £200, Haro Forum Pro half price @ £200...

Like the DKs for some reason...Always wanted a Mongoose but the nu-school ones don't seem good value.  My old school is OK but don't want to thrash the old lady...I anticipate more crashes than landings!
