Any picky of damage ??
-
Yeah close up pics of the threads inside axle and the bolts if you can. :daumenhoch:
-
does everything you touch turn to sh.it ?
-
pete jogg off lol
if macniel painted there or powderd there parts proper
i wouldnt had have to spend an hour trying to remove paint or powder of the inside on
pedals bossess and splines .and cant get a decent pict with my camera
gonna take em a work today to see if ive fecked £110 odd quids worth of stuff lol
-
Were they well lubed ;)
Ti against Ti doesnt go, it needs a grease compound to prevent galling (binding together)
-
yes was using copper grease all i was doin was changing the arms using me old bb
and tried to clean the threads in the axle today and they just fall out
the nuts are bin fodder as they wouldnt even clean up
so looks like ive ruined a decent axle and bolts
-
You could get the axle helicoiled, if its profile its 3/8 unf.
Although tapping ti should be fun.
-
yeah we tried today makes a sound like breaking glass then bits fall out lol

I had the opposite :-\ Ti bolts, ti axle...... Tighten 3 or 4 times during a 3 hr sesh, I got so ill with it I ended up supergluing em which worked till I changed my frame :LolLolLolLol:, went back to 2 cromo bolts and all is good, kept the sprocket ti bolt.
