yeah we need a foam pit, I'm thinking of making one. just don't know where
-
They can be very dangerous places..... proceed with caution....
-
Yeah I've been told that, what can be so dangerous? overshooting the pit?
-
Apes in Sockton, full indoor park. Shut down cos some kid injured himself on a rhythm section and sued the Park :tickedoff:
I loved the foam pit, spent many an hour just trying to bust whips and shit. Daft cvnt he who spoiled it for every one :tickedoff:

There's a couple of things really, if you throw your bike, it's likely to bounce back up into you, and everyone tries flips and the foam tends to grab your head/neck and hold onto it, dishing out some wicked whiplash injuries....
Golden rules are to hit every jump with 1000% commitment, and never let go of your bike ;)
-
That's out of order, it's getting like America people suing for everything
-
Shouldn't sue parks. It just ain't in the spirit of things......
-
don't fancy that neck thing, sounds like you could get some nasty injuries like that
-
they are bad as infection disease zones ,infection capitol of the bmx world.
if you slam and cut yourself get a jab.
even indoor ones collect moisture and sweat from the air rats live in some honest.
apart from that have fun :D
-
Yeah, they found 3 seperate rats nest in Newports pit when they stripped it out years ago......
As for getting hurt, don't worry about it, just think about what you're doing and hit everything hard ;)
-
so basically , if you don't get whiplash ,you might come face to face with splinter or contract the deadly ebola virus :LolLolLolLol:
-
in a nut shell yes :LolLolLolLol:

nice flip, I wanna learn those I'd only try it into foam, tried onto matresses years ago but I just couldn't commit to being upside down
-
I had a hard old time on those. Couldn't turn my head for weeks after!!!
-
from the strain of the flip itself or landing on the neck?
-
Landing on my head!!!!
I torpedoed into that thing many times before I started to go round....
-
still an impressive trick to me even after all these years
-
Wow i had no idea about the disease and rat thing in foam pits, it makes sense though as i have had rats in my garage and loft in the past and they seem to adore nibbling on foam.
-
As long as you don't eat too much of the stuff, and don't rub open wounds on it, you'll be reet :)
-
backflips.the easiest trick of all
-
i hate em as i cant get out once im in lol
