Title: Wheel building - 3 cross or 4 cross ?

I'm just about to have two sets of wheels built - 1 set of Araya 7x's for a 83 JMC Black Shadow and set of Ukai's for a an 82 Vector Mark 11. The hubs will be Suzue small flange. Should the spokes be 4 cross or 3 cross? Or is this down to personal choice ?

I use 4 cross with small flange hubs and 194mm spokes - just did a set last night as it happens  :daumenhoch:

Look at the wheel build thread I posted in which is in the 'Tech and Restoration Stickies' section.  It gives a detailed, easy to use guide to building a wheel.
