I'd most likely get slated for saying this on Vintage. - However considering the value of them:

I'd be very careful when mounting them using the black profile tool.

I bought a set of profiles at the beginning of the year and it stripped the chrome on one arm straight off, just came off in a big flake, I was gutted.

I put the other arm on using my traditional method 'A big block of wood over the end and a mallet, then taped them on'

No problems, it slid straight on.

Just a heads up - Nice looking cranks  :daumenhoch:

Yep i sure like these cranks... do you think these would be suitable for racing?? or just for a bit of show???...

plus one thing has been bugging me... its Profile's 40th anni yeh?, well what did they first start making in 1968?... ???

the chopper ones are beauties..dingo's got some and they are something else..however, buy the time you've pieced em up,a complete set up will probably cost more than some profile ones...

i think alan is taking the piss abit at 300 quid...

you can get original gen 2 ones for less...radman had a cracking set for sale about a month ago for 250 quid.

They look better than I thought they would!

Very nice but at the price they are, you could grab a set of originals...but I suppose if you're going to use them, these are better.

J.T nice move paying for them a few months ago, fooking bargain then!!

BTW Johnny Chopper rules.
