just wondered if anyone had used these and what their thoughts were.
-
i got folding fit faf tyres.
thye roll lovely
are black
and round
and tirey
-
i've had a good look around for kevlar folding tyres and with most of them being between 25 - 30 quid i would say that the
KHE mac premiums are still the lightest out there by far (most others weigh 600g) although next time i'm going for the steel bead version as it's almost the same weight(470g) but half the price at 16.99 ;)
-
fit faf all the way
-
when i stacked on vert the kevlar bead in my tyre streched = tyre fooked
i noticed that most kevlar tyres are not lighter than steel bead versions, just easier to carry in your bag as a spare
-
kevalr dont stretch.steel does
-
okay, well, weight isn't a massive consideration, but don't really wanna spend £30 a tyre so maybe I'll give the KHE street steel bead tyres a go.
-
Primo V-Monsters, tenner each and great tyres :daumenhoch:
-
i got given some Revenge tyres, i don't think they're a huge amount of money but they're fooking great! :daumenhoch:
-
Swapped my Primo walls for khe kevlar, weight saving of over a pound, bike rolls faster and felt easier to spin. Not had any problems although you do have to keep them pumped up hard. Also noticed that they dont come with a very deep tread, reckon 1 good snake skid and would be bald. Got some FAF, but they are fitted to Tuffs felt alright on the macmillan ride.
-
i used to use primo comets.
the fafs roll so much fatsrer than them!!!!
-
KHE Streets kevlar are ace :daumenhoch:
