what size rear tyre is right for racing? I cant remember :idiot2: Is it 1.75
Im thinking about getting a Maxxis Hoodlum Tyre Size 20x1.85 for the rear http://www.alansbmx.com/product_info.php?products_id=3626{4}130 to go with a tioga comp3 in 2.125 front as I cant find a rear tioga. Unsure what to chose between the Maxxis, the Kenda Small Block Eight Tyre and Holy Roller? Advice welcomed
-
i use 1.75 rear and i do use comp 3 too tioga new ones are kicking about in bike shops for sure
-
I am now using a 1.75 Intense Micro Knobbly on the rear and a 1.95 Holy Roller on the front.
-
I use Swalbe Mow Joe 1.8 Rear and 2.0 Front!!
Its faster than a rear 1.75 by 0.05.

On Sunday started to learn two footed balancing (I haven't tried it on a Start Gate yet!!) :-\
I now have a Black rubber mark on my smooth living room wall that I've been balancing against!!
It is now dialled even on slightly off horizontal (by about 2 cm)!!
Sitting down, Standing up. Up, Down, Up Down, One handed, Rotating my cranks etc, etc!!
Piece of cake.
Whether I can do it in race conditions with Wind, Rain, 2 blokes next to me and the adrenaline pumping.....................
