Been tracking a frame i got from the states, cleared customs late last night and says a delivery attempt was made this morning at 5.43am. Yet no card has been left to say so or saying where i can collect it from. Frame was sent USPS and i've sent the seller an email asking if he can find out where it is. Should i be worried?

It's more likely at Parcelforce or on it's way there , those details are normally ahead of themselves . They will attempt delivery soon or send you invoice for VAT/tax firstly .
-
yeh i thought parcelforce normally leave a note saying a delivery was attempted. can't wait for the Tax invoice. lol

You might not get caught for duty , fingers crossed ;) .
-
hope so, although it has been in customs since friday. i guess that doesn't mean i'll still get stung though.
-
If it has been at customs for a while parcelforce will be writing to you requesting you pay the charges, if it sailed through chances are your ok.
what was the frame dude? (just being nosey)
-
i ordered frame from states and it sat at customs for 2 weeks and i never got a card to say it was here. it was only after getting tracking number off seller did i find out where it was.
-
I know someone that this has happened to a few times, he always ended up getting his stuff, but did have to pay some sort of charges. So if I was you i wouldn't worry about losing your frame, but brace yourself for the charge!!!!

how did you end up getting it?
-
Give parcel force a ring, the same thing happened to me, no card, but it was at the local office.
-
cheers, will try that. :daumenhoch:
-
just rung them and they've got it. :daumenhoch: got to pay £33.76 as well.
-
lol...yep, thats what happened to me.
-
at least i know where it is now anyway.
-
Could be worse :daumenhoch:
In my experience it comes down to what the sender records on the customs declaration as to whether you pay charges.
Just had a 400 dollar frame from the states and the sender was cool and marked its value as 100 dollars on the declaration and i got no customs charges.
-
yeh i was expecting a lot more than that tbh, i was expecting nearer £80 or so. reckon i got away quite light on that one. only been caught out on a pair of wheels a couple of years ago but normally i usually get stuff fine from the US. Will try and get out there today to pick it up.
-
all sorted now, went and picked it up from the depot. :daumenhoch:
