Title: removing brake rub from tuffs?
Post by: bigfatolly on November 23, 2008, 03:55 PM
further to the removing paint from tuffs thread, what is the best way to remove brake rub from the rims?
the white tuff i have stripped has a dirty great black streak round the rims. ::)
the nitromors and wire wool while i was stripping the paint seemed to remove a bit of it but has anyone got any magic tricks to do it quick? ;)

Cif bathroom cleaner + abrasive washing up cloth/pad. Not too abrasive though. Those green ones do the job nicely  :daumenhoch:
