Title: Full Resto or Keep it As it is ???
Post by: signet on November 28, 2008, 06:23 PM: Bought this of ebay for £220.00 (plus shipping) - Do i give it a full resto or Keep it as a survivor - Your opinions would be appreciated. The threads on the crank spindle are fooked, apart from that needs a good clean.

If the fork drop outs are to the inside of the fork legs, they are Tange TX500, if the drop outs are in the centre they are LRV... and if they have Akisu on the steering tube then...

Pretty cool whatever they are, not many in the UK, that's for sure.

Give it a good clean, and then post it back up :)

Those forks are funky as , I don't think from the same era though ? ( as in if it was a serious race bike kinda way ) .

Looks like it could've been built out of odd parts laying around to make a complete to sell .

How much for the forks? Might need them for my Mathews hardtail. Think Matt's right, looks like someone threw parts on it to flip it. Love the 3 piece cranks and UNI though.
