you need bcf membership and race licence to race nationals not to sure how much
it is this year but was about £60 for both
they come in different grades gold, silver, bronze, different insurance etc
you can get a bronze which allows you to race regionals and the brits about £11
but you usually get away with racing about 3 regionals without one
club meeting  just turn up and have a go usually pay a club membership yearly.
have fun :)

Last year if you joined a club and hadn't held a bc licence before you got a bronze for free. Silver if you were under 16 I think. Its worth checking out. Get in touch with your local club and find out if I were you. Go Ride clubs had about 50 each to give away.

Basically, what the Fox said so why not...

Join the BADBMX club (application form available at www.badbmx.com) and get a free bronze licence! (Or if your under 16 get the silver one plus a racing licence for nowt!)
