Title: Landing Gear forks stripping
Post by: rideandy on December 02, 2008, 08:55 AM
Right I have finally got hold of some unstapped Landing Gear forks off Ebay.
I was hoping to get a mint pair but knowing that I will be having them coated I decided to go for a pair that need stripping, cleaning and a bit of elbow!

What’s the best way to  strip down to bare ali?

I will post pics when there in my hands.

Cheers

Cro-mo is steel ( as in what they're made of ) , strip the paint off with nitromors & should be bare steel then ready for re-powder  ;) .
