 :wtf:

Gently does it I'd say...cool wash and pre-treat with a little bit of flash liquid (incidentally, flash liquid works VERY well on removing grime layers from car control stalks).

Don't put old rubber bath-mats round a washer BTW...they disintegrate apparently. :crazy2:

Would tyres come up ok in the washer do you think?

Tried a dishwasher Jai on some grubby old yellow oakleys, worked a bit but the muck was quite ingrained. Next time that lazy moo washes my clothes I'll bung some white A'me's in and let you know.

TETROSYL - Pre wipe degreaser.

Best thing ever for cleaning grips. Takes the grease and crap out of everything!

just use mr muscle kitchen cleaner, all super markets have it and it works.

you can also put some through the dishwasher, but careful and some might not take the heat.

I tried a couple of sets of mongoose grips in the washing machine
think at 50 degrees

they were pretty bad when they went in
and it def helped
but the grips weren't tip top when they came back out
still deep oil and muck on them

flash liquid and or mr muscle eh
i'll give that a go  :daumenhoch:
