I bought one of those 2008 black n gold rippers from stodgy with the intention of putting it in the loft to keep. IT WONT FIT THRU THE LOFT DOOR!! Shall i build it and put it on display in the games room or keep it boxed and find somewhere to store it? i dont want its value to drop thats all as it will prob rise in value in the years to come. HELP!! :-\

Bikes r for riding
-
build it.... im with the Rat on this one!
-
Build it... ride it... :daumenhoch:

I think your on a wrong un anyway with keeping it for financial reasons, i would doubt that in ten years these will be worth that much more than you paid. Save up and buy a nos Ripper from the eighties if you wanna make an investment :daumenhoch:
Build the one you have and wait until summer, then ride the bugger ;)

No chance of that becoming a timeless bmx classic...build and destroy and create BMX Mayhem in your town is my advice.
If you want collectable I agree with DB get a proper 80's one and stash it in grannys attic for a rainy day :daumenhoch:

defo build it up and ride it. thats what i am doing with my 2008 ripper, building up mainly with new school bits, and i plan on using it
-
Build it and when you ride it, you wont regret it!

build it and ride it :daumenhoch:
dont go thinking its going to be some collectable investment :LolLolLolLol:
its not.
if you want an investment go and buy yourself one of those "in-house" standard's, an s&m new dirtbike or a T1 and leave that in its box,
they'll be the collectable's in years to come :daumenhoch:

as the others here mate, these are not giong to appreciate in value, you might get £300 quid for it when you are 70 years old...
-
ride it, bikes are nice to look at, but don't get the addrenalin running until ridden
-
and so say all of us ... build it , ride it , or failling that , i`ll have it off you for a credit cruching £15 :2funny:

Bikes are for riding. Not looking at for 50 years and grow so accustomed you can't sell.
