right got my redline cranks :D but :-[ one of the bolts is shearing :'(
it's still all on the bike - got one Allen key that fits the axle bolts - still trying to find one for the twin pinch - don't know if it's cos it's the US version, but none of the normal keys fit
right so on one side it has come undone but still need to do the twin pinch for it to come off that side - but on the other side it has been rounded on the bolt (not by me, as it looks as some one has had a go with the wrong size key) the bolt is tight on there after all the years on there !
so is there a way of getting it sorted and undo the bolt ? - if i drill it, will it screw it up ? is there a way of getting some thing into the bolt hole - welding a T - bar into it to turn it or is there any other method to try ???
please help - cheers B

What you could do is get a set of those bits ( cant remember the name) but its simple, all you do is drill into the bolt, then get one of these bit's with a revers thread on it, as you screw it into the drilled hole it then starts bite into it and tighten and then starts to undo the bolt.
if you have one bolt off, measure it and mark the drill bit with some tape so you dont go to far in. it should be quite simple to do as you have the rounded allen key hole to start you of. i have done it a good few times where you have to use a punch to get a start.
i am sure peeps on here will know what i mean. Hope this helps and good luck

Another good way is to use a slightly larger Torq drive, tap that into the bolt and undo as normal.

Use an impact driver and hammer....works for me :daumenhoch:

They're called E-Z outs or easyouts I think.
