right guys heres the dilema
last night i won a nos haro group 1 rs2 frame set on the evilbay ,,,,,,now i dont no much about these it was kind of a spur of the moment bid and i won it :buck2:
are these like the aero reflex and streetbeasts ,with loads of them lying about in nos form ??????????
i payed £137 including delivery ,,,,,have i paid over the top, or not a bad price
heres the dilema
do i keep it as is
build it with bits i have lying around
source the correct parts that it came with ,back in the day
or built it with rider parts ,and race it in the old school class next year ,,,,when my freaking knee gets sorted
or even sell it on ,,or try and trade for something i really want
maybe i should phone a friend :daumenhoch:
cheers
glen

man you are really trying to rub it in now :LolLolLolLol:
the rs2 must be worth more due to the chrome back end ,, ::)
-
I bought 4 NOS boxed ones (RS2) and they were £75 each from Alans :daumenhoch:
-
I think the RS2's are worth about £100 now if its 100% NOS. RS3's are getting harder to come by in Blue and RS2's are definitely hard to get hold of and these are normally built up, split up and then sold at a lower cost as many are raced. But NOS ones i'd say is worth £100 any day. I'd also say keep it NOS, in its box, it will only go up in value. Its like one of those frames again (like the reflex) that's not everyone's cuppa tea but will go up due to demand and it also being an 80's Haro.

Yep, they're nice bikes and quite underrated IMHO... Pistol Pete was n#1 on one of those !!
As the framesets are quite cheap, they usually end in budget builds or racers, but me likes a good original survivor :)
-
mine is an 87-again with a chrome back end-will it be all chrome under the paint?

That's cool mate, glad I could help ;)
Yes Mileyboy, full chrome underneath.... I'm thinking of getting a painted fork rechromed to go for a custom color build... something "a la Hutch" just chrome and black...
