Whats the best tyre for money out on the market? I've rode Maxxis Hookworm's and Ringworm's before and they were very grippy, smooth and nice to ride on with high pressure.
As im getting my new park bike this week and the tyres are cheapy Diamondback's own 'freestyle' tyres and i want to go on something better but i havent got alot of doshola to spend!
whats out there for about £15-£20 that you can call park tyre material??

gusset pimp
-
cheng shin double v kevlar beaded.
Asda, £8.96 currently, come folded up in a box marketed by Bell.
I have em on my Colony and they stick. good.
Trust me these grip and are quite hardy, not really showing signs of wear.
-
Wow £8.96! Never thought i'd go and have a look for park tyres in my local Asda :LolLolLolLol:
I'll have a look for them Joe :daumenhoch: :daumenhoch:
-
scrub em in for half and hour just carving circles in a supermarket carpark in the dry and you'll be good to go. :daumenhoch:

I'm intending to pick up a pair next time I'm in there just to have for when mine wear out, if you want a set I could sort you out.
-
alans have got primo walls on sale at a tenner at the moment.
quite heavy though.
-
Abike tyres are good :fart:
it depends what you want to use them for really
-
i've given this alot of thought over the years and tried allsorts,
and tbh,
when it comes down to it,
at the end of the day,
when all said and done,
the best value, best performing all-round tyre
its got to be the
primo dirt monster,
it's got enough tread to use on dirt and rolls fast on concrete and wood,
they last pretty well,
theyre light enough at the price,
if i had to use one pair of tyre to do ride everything on,
primo dirt monster 20x2.00-front 20x1.85 rear :4_17_5:
in fact i'm going to buy a pair right now.
-
PRIMO DIRT MONSTER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
the fit ones are good
-

Just ordered some We The People "feelin" tyres, didnt want them wafer thin KHE efforts......hate punctures at the best of times. :knuppel2:
Not much help at the moment i know, but i will report on their grip levels when i have tested em. Not cheap though at £40 a pair. ::)

Just got back from Charlton and i gotta say the WeThePeople "feelin" tyres that ive just put on are farkin excellent.
Big weight difference from my cheng shins :LolLolLolLol:
Minimal scrubbing in and it was all good, its made a big difference to the way the bike jumps.
It just seems to wanna go higher. Apparently i was going 4ft over the volcano....................which was nice!
Great tyres, they get the ringers seal of approval! :daumenhoch:
