Title: What a p*ss take!
Post by: magna13 on December 15, 2008, 05:19 PM
ok, heres the situation. A few weeks back i won a bike on ebay that i shown straight away out of excitment on this site, i couldnt wait to get it!! i even paid paypal straight away to get it all sorted so i could get it here soon as possible!

I sorted the postage all out within a few days and they said "yep its all ok, parcelforce 48hrs" :daumenhoch: :daumenhoch:

I've been waiting for 2 weeks now thinking that it might be late because of the x-mas season and all postage thats happening!

Now, tonight i get a phone call and she rings up claiming that over the weekend, her nephew stayed and got it out the shed and rode it... accordingly he snapped the crank arm off, bent the chainring, buckeld both wheels, ripped the seat and totally mashed the handlebars.

I dont beleive this for one second as we have kept in touch with them for all of the time and they barley answered any of our e-mails! and when i was on the phone i said "even though its got damage can we sell it for less and i'll fix it!!" she said "no i really havent got the time for that"

the parts the bike had on it were snafu bars, odyssey Alansbmx custom wheels on Freeagent sealed wheels, a Eastern seat, Eastern chainring and Demolition crankset!! you must of done some serious stuff to do damage to that!!

Now i've been into riding and i've seen people at the skateparks with this type of stuff and they have pulled things that would boggle the mind and they came off many of times doing no damage to their stuff!!

Now i'm bikeless!! wanted to really kick my skatepark riding off with this bike and that was all i could afford to start off with... now all my mates have their bike prepared ready for some winter riding and i got nowt!!

I had decals, tyres, grips... the whole lot set up for this bike!

looks like im not riding this winter!

I know pete, my dad also said that too but this one was perfect and at the right price it would have been fantastic! and it took me along time to find one i wanted

Unless some miracle happens and someone on BMXTalk or on here has a park ready bike for about £100 then my winter is gonna suck a little bit

One or two I could believe, but she's making out like he drove over it with a tank...Sure as eggs are eggs the bitch sold it to someone else  :tickedoff:

name and shame so the rest of us can avoid her and/or pester her with stupid questions on her future 'auctions', if nothing else we can piss her off a bit.
