do these fit snuggly in the chainstay? and what cable set up do you need? ive got an se assassin with an adjuster on the bottom of the seat tube allowing the cable to go through to the chainstay area,
i can see how the centre pull ones work but not the hombre as it looks as though the cable only goes to one side of the caliper (or so it seems).
any clarification or pics on the above welcome as trying to set up a pitbull has mentally done me in

you got a straddle cable?
-
dont know what that is dude, got jack shit at min, ive always been strictly old school and now i know why :)
-
a straddle cable goes from one arm to the other. then in the middle is a hook that you attach the cable to
this is the original way of running a centre pull brake, as found on old 10 speed racers (and canti brakes)

the hombres ive seen have an adjuster on one of the arms, thats what was throwing me, i understand the centre pull concept(didnt know thats what you call a straddle cable though, cheers)

the fronts have an adjuster!

ahhhhhhhhhhhhh...that makes sense, thats one query sorted then dude, cheers
