have a word with phil (oberonspacefruit)
i know he changed the seeled bearings in a set.
-
bearings from a front suzue sealed will fit, i have them in mine mate.
there are enough on the bay, just no rears which i need!
-
pleaser correct me if im wrong
but the sealed bearing look reallyt similar to skateboard bearings
are these interchangeable?
ps how come they need a refurb, i thought these badboys were indestructible?

most stuff deteriorates with age :o, especially if not re-greased on a mechanical part for example.
do you have to put oil in ur car engine? do bears shit in the woods :LolLolLolLol:
when i removed the original bearings from mine, they were semi-sealed? ie: a seal on the outside but not on the inside.
but not sure if they were original.

you can get them from any decent bearings shop. 10mm by 9mm thick take the measuremens of the interal diameter , external diameter, and width. they are the same as mini moto berings too.
problem is, at 9 quid a pair, plus if your bearings are knackerd, your spindles may well be corroded, and they need to be a nice flush fit, otherwise they wobble, is it cheaper to buy a new set of zytecs...

i bought a NOS set for 20 quid plus post a few months back off the bay.
just buy a new set

Might keep an eye out for a cheap nos set and swap the bearings on to my blue ones then...
