Title: PHOTOBUCKET VIRUS?
Post by: generallee on December 30, 2008, 12:09 PM
When Im trying to log on to my photobucket account, im getting all kind of strange pop ups warning me of spyware, high level threats etc from my pc AVG security - but whn i try and delete the threats it goes round and round in cicles and doesnt work.. so ive had to abandon photobucket for now, every other site is fine and my AVG says all is well.... til I get onto photobucket. Anyone else having problems on photobucket?

i'm getting the same dude,

"attack site warning!"

maybe their site got hacked,

i'm doing the same though, just leaving it alone for a while :daumenhoch:

Could be AVG giving out false warnings, it's one of the reasons I stopped using it and switched to Avast.

yep i just had it. was gonna put a pic up for pic of the day. think this topic may have to wait a while for now. logged in & uploaded a pic then it all went crazy.

ran avg and no virus found. i'll leave it for now...

its a pop up for a spyware laden product.

it pops up and tells you that you need it, it's antivirus 2009. this is spyware not an antivirus product.

get windows defender, free if you have genuine windows product and make sure in ie7 all the phishing and popup blockers are turned on and you'll be fine.
