Title: new school resto and first try at paint job
Post by: gavprimo on January 01, 2009, 11:25 PM
after selling my federal t-nez I decided to get another bmx and picked up a rather neglected hoffman pro instrument off ebay for £22.  full crmo frame forks and bars, cane creek headset so all good

it was looking a bit sorry but is structurally sound, needed a bit of a clean up and some tlc - 2 weeks later and this is where I'm up to

masked up the wheel and sprayed the front rim, the got down to rally checks on the top tube - theres a how to for this on the american ride bmx website - quite pleased with it for a first go - not sure if it shows up well enough but its blue and white checks over the black

was also thinking of spraying some of the blue as a fade from the rear dropouts and part way up the stays, similar to DJs black and gold on his unknown, but would this be too much? ???

tbh can't be ar*ed to respray the whole frame, just did that for something differnent and to cover some scratching on the tt.  its only for chucking around the skatepark after all, not a show bike
