I stayed up until 3am last night watching some rims, really too tired to do it tonight as well but I'd love a punt on these:

I got a pair of these about 2 months ago after looking for 4 years 8)
Then another pair turns up ::)
-
just load the 'Bidsniper' ;)
-
Cool bars , pretty firm price too considering the crossbar ;)
-
£100 for those is a bargain IMO....... last pair i saw went for over £200
-
my fave bars, had a copy set on my first bmx, went to the local bike shop to get a set of copy cw's and came out with star bars, they were too big for me,my dad had to cut em down!! :LolLolLolLol:
-
I have to cough to setting the snipe on these. I was a little concerned about the dent, but they are less than 1/2 the price of the last set I bought - just wish the dollar is where it was when I got the last pair too :tickedoff:
-
A set on NOS black 7b's went today for $240, I wish I hadn't just spent all my cash on a new car as theres some cracking stuff coming on the bay at the moment!

MRD Pro bars are an exact copy of those Star bars.
Sawzell showed me at the weekend, he gave me one of each bar and they are identical in every way.

Not every way Andy, MRD bars were brazed not tigged but yes geometry was identical. I don't know what would be the rarer find, MRD or Stars!

Yea Clive, Phil was saying something about that actually, I did mean the the geometry mate, welding and brazing is far too complicated for my liking. :LolLolLolLol: Just when the star bars and the MRD Pro bars were next to each other there wasn't a difference.
-
Oooh black 7b's now I would have liked them for sure.
I just remembered I have some MRD pro's so should get a comparison pic up when the new bars get here.

Mid eighties everyone wanted Stars or something similar and everyone was copying them. I had them on my GHP, they crushed really easily though so be careful fitting them!
The VDC Woody Itson wasn't too dissimilar which influenced Early Slam bars etc so I reckon Stars are the iconic BMX bar (as well as CW, and GT's......)

I've had these kicking around for years. Had them stripped and brought back to life by Rad's resident frame fettler :4_17_5:
They're gona be painted in a nice candy red :smitten:
Star/GHP bars docrush relatively easily :(
