OK, so it might not be that high but its air. and the camera angle makes it look higher. I'm off all week, and went to the skatepark on Tuesday afternoon. The sun was shining. It was T shirt weather and I had a whole skatepark to myself ...well nearly ( OK I had to share with Wilkerson and 2 others.-not such a bad thing) :daumenhoch:

learnt to jump over a small spine as well. can't believe how scary they are...

I also footplant dropped in off the huge half pipe which was quite an achievement for me. It must be 15 ft high. Only Ron w rides it. No-one else goes near it. I was well crapping myself. No photos tho'. I had that "well pleased" feeling after landing without the need for an ambulance

yeah I had a great session. I was in a T shirt. Must be something to do wit my time living in Newcastle in '96. ;)
I love it when it quiet, as I'm more likely to try stuff when there's not loads of young'uns watching so a quiet session was great. Unfortunately, I can usually only make the Sunday session when all the 3 year old kids are pedalling through the fullpipe .

Its lake Cunningham Skatepark in san jose which is the largest in california and opened last May. Its great. of course it usually open for skaters, but bikes are allowed for 3 sessions per week. Two of which everyone over the age of 5 is at school or work :(. even then all the bowls with proper pool coping are off limits in case the bike pegs ruin the coping. Never mind -skateboard trucks have ruined the coping anyway
here's some photos
