Just wondering? ??? what do you think?
-
obv choice but I love the 125lp in chrome with blue
-
Either a GT Epoch Or a 125LP
-
tange is a work of art........
sold my Blue one for 150 quid ! :D
-
yep, tange 125lp :daumenhoch: in black, got 2 of them in boxes
-
None... they all work themselves loose in minutes... :D
-
tange mx 300 series end of ! came standard on the HUTCH prostar incidentally
-
the fookin LP
you lot are on crack the 125 was a work of art , then they added a blummin locking part, ruined it
so for me the 125 and the MX 300 and the MX3
the 3 i really like as its steel but has a nice detail on the coloured band
-
go on rich give it to em .. :daumenhoch:
-
mx 300? pics
tange mx5 now they are nice, mx3's are smart. tange 125 is nice, the 320 i like too, good chrome.
lp's are nice, that locknut is a nice addition, they do differ from the 125, but i like both.
since when was it not a tange 125 in chrome that came on the hutch prostar?
-
Yeah using an mx3 at the minute with the pale blue band pretty cool..do like blue 125lp in blue-chunky..love the blue Hatta MX..never had one but think they look Darn tidy and seem pretty hard to find NOS these days ;)
-
I think the MX300 and the 125 are the same thing ?? they are MX300s in the ads and say 125 on the band ?? or am i talking rubbish
-
125`s alloy ? .. the 300 series ie 320 were chrome steel .. correct me if im wrong but they came on the prostar .. maybe the 125 did aswell :coolsmiley:
-
that makes sense
as in the ads the MX300/320 looks like a 125
-
125's look great, but it ends there........... they are so sh1t at their intended job !!
320 look the just as cool, but actually (nearly) work .
best headset pound for pound is a beartrap, no contest!
ade :crazy2:
-
125 was standard on the pro star, chromed alloy. 320 is chromed steel. 320 says 320 on the band and 125 says, wait for it, :LolLolLolLol: 125 on the band.
kind of so

-
seems like they was alloy :coolsmiley:i stand corrected for a while ... http://users.telenet.be/jjrbmx/inter-test/HUTCHProStar84Test.html
-
Love the 320 as well :P
-
For early bikes the Tange MX5 :smitten:
For later bikes the 125 and 320 look the dogs but in reality the lower cups broke up and cracked pretty fast on the 320 and the top cups threaded on the 125's. For out and out abuse get a Beartrap 2, the working bikes headset :D
-
2x chrome 125. everybody needs them for the pro star builds >:D next to the much prettier early alloy mx5. :4_17_5:

:smitten: :LolLolLolLol:
-
hmm .must skuttle off and check what ive got on mine !! :2funny: ::)
-
Always liked the Hatta mx100, the kongo sealed ones are quite useless.
Also had a tange 125, no denying the quality there.
-
For a show bike - Tange MX5 no contest .

For riding , Epoch then MX2/Beartrap 2 .
-
Used a Beartrap 2 for the last year and havent had to tighten it once.
agree not the best looking one but they do work! wish id had one BITD - seemed to remember spending half the time tightening them up!
-
ive got one on my Park toilet roll holder :LolLolLolLol: (only the best in my loo)
TBH they are a bit new school to put on a TA - IMHO but then is yours a repro one Glen? dont suppose those rules apply in that case!
-
Go for it then! I've used them on my MTB's for years and they last for ever.

-
epoch with the plastic cover.
in green.
-
Is the Epoch the same as the GT Power Series/FSA Headset?
The one with the spring to stop the headset coming loose!!
I fitted mine!!
And I haven't adjusted it since!! :daumenhoch:
-
Beartrap... every thing else is for Liberace.
-
Nicest headset by far, Campagnolo, only hitch is you have to have a VDC for it to fit!
