Title: convert front mag to a rear?
Post by: Mr Nice on January 09, 2009, 06:40 PM: Is it possible? local bike shop has two unbranded front mag wheels and was wondering if i could convert one to a rear

The front wil just have the axle, where the rear would have a coaster or an area to attach a freewheel

if these are shiney black or white five spoke mags steer well clear, seen some of these and flex a sh1t load if you put any sort of weight on them

Post by: pickle on January 15, 2009, 07:24 AM: my guess is that if they are unbranded mags, then they will be cheap and flexy fookers and more trouble and expense than it'll be worth to convert them.

just buy a new set of tuffs for about £60 if you want some for a rider?
