Hi folks, the bike is back - god she is covered in dust!
not sure if the links will work first time using photo bucket.... bike details:
1983 gt according to serial dating. I purchased it 84 ish if memory right.
curtis bars,mx brakes and levers, uni seat post and jam sandwich seat clamp.
Tuff neck head stem and flywheel, chain ring-sugino.
z- rims, yellow dice (cool). dx pedals.
iscaselle seat - line 2000? (cannot remember this though, my brother my have been messing).

need to get the duster out - light resto maybe, opinions please....anyone?

ahhaahaha that was fast! 5 mins flat. I was thinking thats a nice power disk!

might be able to help with chain rings and disc, called in the shop I got the bike from originally and he states he still has some stuff left in back of shop. He is making a stock list and I will post as soon as I get it with his details.
after I have had a good look first, however!!!! 8)

No worries - I am going to have to keep on at the guy because he is so laid back he slides under gaps in doors!!! ;D

i would strip it, clean it, regrease everything..maybe change the seat and post and your sorted...

Real cool that you got your old bike back , as the others have said a good clean/polish/lube then sorted :daumenhoch: .
I would change the grips & seat .

zoomaloom take the pedals off and put em under your pillow, little clean and your away, I bloody hate GT's me

Still got original box for pedals, they were priced up at £13.41p.... we need a time machine!
