Title: Does Nitromors attack chrome ?
Post by: bobafett on January 11, 2009, 03:24 PM
Got a set of chrome bars that have been painted over - want to nitromors the shitty paint off but worried about it attacking the chrome underneath which looks to be in very good shape.

Anyone had a similar problem ?

wont touch the chrome as it just reacts with the chemicals in the paint to make them bubble. if its powder coating your better with gasket remover spray

Nice one  :daumenhoch:

It's not powder coat mate - it's like a semitransparent / metalic red candy coat. Looks quite plasticcy...... if you know what i mean  :D

Guess i'll give the nitromors a go then  ;)
