BITD it was Oakley goggles all the way but now that...
1. My doctor wears Oakley spectacles.
2. A girl in my town has a son called Oakley. ;D
... they just don't do it for me like they used to.
So what did / do you favour to keep your peepers clean and clear and where can they be purchased?
Thoughts appreciated.
:)

Dragon are very good, also Smith but for ultra cool googles go for these

glasses nowadays lol
-
I wear Oakley glasses when not wearing contacts, ski goggles, sun glasses & clear half jackets for MTBing.
They are the best 8)
-
Sorry, Oakley for me too.... A Frames for snow and Crowbars for mud :)
There are loads of good goggles these days though, it doesn't have to be Scott, Oakley or Smith like the good old days. That said, they don't all sit well in all helmets anymore, so you'll need to consider that too ;)
-
Oakley goggles are bestest :LolLolLolLol:
Did you know that the forunder of Oakley named the company after his dog called Oakley :coolsmiley:
-
you mean there's other eyewear other than Oakley. Your're taking the piss surely? :LolLolLolLol:
-
Good advice.
Oakley undoubtedly still the daddy for innovation and technology.
Those Fox goggles look very nice too.
Funny that Arnette don't seem to feature any more of have they just turned their attentions to snow?
-
The Fox goggles are made by Oakley anyway......

for bmx:
one normal and one toric focus dailies lenses, tried other disposable lenses but these are the ones for me.
also use when snowboarding or just on sunny days so i can wear shades.
if out doors and sunny then Bloc shades that stay on better than Gascans for riding or gardening etc and the beach as they are much smaller
for everything else:
2 pairs of quiksilver framed specs
Oakley Gascans for "nice shades"
Electric Goggles for snowboarding one brown/mirrored sun lens and a pink one, never take the other with me, just make a choice in the morning and live it. sunny = brown, overcast = pink.
cheap unbranded mask for snorkelling.
and i think that's it. yes, i have a seperate bag for eyewear. :coolsmiley:
I must say that fancy sunglasses frames like eye jackets etc look a bit odd as spectacles in my opinion.

I don't like goggles, so Oakley Radar and Half-Jackets (glasses) for riding in. I have to wear something when riding otherwise I find the wind dries my contacts out. I'll always buy Oakley (and only Oakley). Oakley also has great warranty and customer service (I've heard of people sending 10 year old products back with no guarantee and getting them repaired or replaced).
I think Oakley sold for a cool $1billion last year or the year before to the same people that own Ray-Ban and lots of other eye related brands, so not independent anymore, but hopefully the products/quality will remain unaffected.
Very cool company Oakley. Their jeans, gloves and backpacks are pukka too.

Oakley Racing Jackets for me... or minutes or eyepatch's if ive forgot to being anything else...
and im blind without em so they have to be prescription.... you wouldnt believe the small fortune ive invested in em but they are worth every penny!
-
i dont race, so its sunglasses for me.
gucci.
it is the law.
-
wore glasses for 20 years then contacts, don't like the feel of wind/cold air direct on eyes, and extremely light sensitive eyes, so i wear Bloc sunnies for everything out doors
-
only ever seen one pair of oakley sunny's i liked. can't say i would ever wear the rest.
This season i will be wearing valentino and possibly armani if i have them repaired. best lenses i've looked through, coated crystal.
-
Mostly wear my D&G big buggers. :coolsmiley:
Like the old oakley masks but don't race so no point...unless I do armed robberies at the local garage :2gunsfiring_v1: :knuppel2:

lol, must be green glasses. i had some nice green lens green framed killer loop specs. they got crushed when they fell out my pocket in the supermarket carpark and they got run over. I was gutted, three week old.

just had a look, oakley are doing normal sunglasses now, not just them 'sport dad' things they always made. bit pricey though. I'll stick to my designer occhialli thoguh.
