can anyone help me ive got myself a redline pl24" with 414 cranks
are these redline cranks?
and do you need to put a redline chain wheel on?
as the chain wheel is so small

What age is the PL24. The early ones generally came with one piece cranks. The good upgrade would be for Single pinch Redlne 401's. I personally will be running modern double pich Flight cranks on mine. 414 Industry cranks are new school. If it's a new school bike then anything goes.

what gearing is on there?
41-18, 36-16 & 30-13 are all the normal ratios to use as they equate more or less to 44-16 on a 20"
414 are an offshoot of Revell bikes I think?

There was one on the bay with 414 cranks ?

Did'nt look like a PL24 , looked like a later Redline Cruiser

Got all NS bits on it

yeh matt thats the one got new school for racing.  thinks its the latest pl 24
for mansfield hope it does me well  :LolLolLolLol:
