Title: Firebird Freestyler, oops!
Post by: b45t4rd on January 17, 2009, 04:43 PM
Went to Bike Pro in B'ham today, hanging on the wall is a restored freestyler f&f.
They have recently been told what it's worth. But it spent a year in the upstairs showroom as an unrestored, complete bike......

Asking price?

£20

Didn't ask, they are a business so I doubt it's cheap, think it is for pro-mo use.
They did mention a JMC of some sorts in the basement, seems they do get offered a few nice old bikes.

I don't know if the DP & the JMC are for sale, but I can tell you all the old stuff they had went in the mid 90's when they moved from Ladypool Rd.
Off the top of my head they had, 2x DP(1 freestyler & 1 mini) both NOS. A yellow Curtis freestyler NOS, Quadangle NOS, A couple of MRD minis NOS.
All could have been bought for next to nothing, along with Cook Bros cranks, etc.... :(
