Hot and sunny every day, snorkelling for the first time - great fun - but the food and drink were crap and they wouldn't leave us alone for five minutes.

Did race a camel down a street doin' a peg wheelie though! Hilarious! Most surreal bmx moment for a long time!! :LolLolLolLol:

We usually hit the Alps for some 'boarding at New Year, but prices weren't lookin' good, and after spending three days sorting windows on a scaffold in November, I was sick of being cold and not seeing the sun!

Just got the bike built over Christmas (then all apart again to box it up!) - took it out to get used to it without gettin frozen and rained on! Learned the hard way that you ride in the shade over there! Waaay HOT!

Freaked out the locals - don't think they've seen bmx before! The dude on the camel will be trying fire hydrants as we speak... :LolLolLolLol:

So Aileen quickly took the pic, then I shouted up to him, 'Can your camel do any tricks?' and then spun around him with a couple of moves! He thought it was mental and we ended up havin' a wee race down the road, me in a peg wheelie and him trotting alongside on the camel! A very surreal moment!

Doubt I'll ever do that again! :LolLolLolLol:
