I think its later than 87. Did it come in a bag with a blue card peg board top?

I think its early 90's. About 2 years ago a guy was selling black ones and alloy ones on ebay, he had boxes of them and they were £2.50 a pop. He also had Peregrine seat posts that clamp to the seat rails and they had the same blue card peg board top (this is why i think its early 90's)

Being the stupid fool i am I got 1 black and 1 alloy and have regretted not buying them all ever since. Really nice looking clamp

Think I have one still in the packet somewhere...

pic added, no mention of date on packaging, would say late 80's/ early 90's, just a guess...
The one outside the bag is 87 for sure.
