Sadly, Charlton claimed another victim lastnite.

I am sure some of you know Richie Patterson?

Big No-hander over the spine, didnt get hold of the bars properly on re-entry and looped out with his leg underneath him.....ouch!
Its exactly how i broke my leg, in fact it was like an action replay of mine (apart from the big no-hander bit). As soon as he went down i knew by the look on his face it wasnt good.

Anyway, found out today that its breakage of both Tibula and Fibula just above the ankle. He was operated on this morning and as far as i know, all went well.

I am so gutted for him man, he's such a nice fella and he is a self employed sparky who's wife has just been made redundant.  :-\

So here's to you Richie, get well real soon brother. We are all thinking of you.

But in true Richie style....managed a smile for the camera, but that was after sucking a whole bottle of laughing gas.  :LolLolLolLol:

Just got a couple of pics mailed to me by Trev, he went to see Richie today.

I dont know anymore details yet, but he looks in good spirits (that could be the bifta)
