just noticed the height of leweyns seat post!!!!!!!
That was so he could sit down before the end as was so far in the lead. watched him do it loads of times :D
-
In pic 6 that's Alex Hennessey between you and Gary L.
Pic 4 brings back memories. That's Matt Hughes and Mark Musson behind you at Herne Bay. I was in this moto too. In the 2nd moto Kevin Miller got the hump with me and accused me of knocking him off ( as if!!! :daumenhoch: ) I tried to blame Matt Hughes, but Miller realised differently :LolLolLolLol: I got 4th in the final in the end.
-
no no , high seats are to sit in tight 180 berms, give better grip to rear wheel and gives the sling shot effect it you sit and stand at the right time, kinda pumping the berms....hence why i had seat high when i re-started.
-
3rd pic is Shoreham. Used to race there as well back in 82/83. Happy Days :daumenhoch:
Loving the pics

Blimey im in that top pic at Poole '81 red race gear pushing my bike up the hill, can see Russell Merry 699 (current owner of Hotwheels), and Tom Graham in the cap (national commentator through the 80's)

Awesome I can just see the downside of the wooden blue and yellow tabletop, I spent many a weekend their in the early 80's racing and freestyle, we used to put the trick ramp in front of the table top and jump over it........good times.
Was stoked to get my name in a bmx weekly racing their which wasn't bad considering i raced on a GT performer with mags.
