That's ma boy!

great intewrview, he's still ripping and it's nice to see someone have longer answers than the question itself. ::)
Greg, you guys used to sometimes hit the meanwhile / flyover ceiling??? That's insane air! :uglystupid2:

We usually stayed around 9/10 ft but sometimes we pushed ourselves harder. When you got to around 12, you would either tap your head or shoulders.

Thanks for putting this link up Greg :-)

great interview!!

Great interview Lee. I am really liking how things seem to be coming around full circle with all of the old school riders finding their groove again. Looking forward to riding with you and Chris again this weekend.
-
Lee, you RULE
See you in the UK soon?!
-
Good read Lee, nice one mate.
Thanks for the shout out to The Trumpton Riot Squad too ;)

Thanks Guys :)
I'm not sure if I'm going to make it to the UK this year... although I want to.
I'm pretty excited about Steve Swopes old school jam at Woodward West (March 20-21).
Also Andy, Chris Potts, Tony Murray and I are going to ride Chula Vista skatepark this weekend.
I think it'll be the first time they've let bikes in.
Hope you're all well...

Great interview Lee, I think Bart has done a great job, he seems to know just the right questions to ask each rider, and the interviews show it :daumenhoch:
-
Thanks Billy... same goes to you.
Plus I hear there are some other good interviews coming from Bart.
Hopefully you and I can have a riding session sometime in the future.
You were a great inspiration to me as a kid.
Peace.

Lee I`ve seen the pictures of your riding and I`ve got to say they are a lot better than anything I could manage :-[
The level of riding from your era with Greg, Andy, Mike Canning, Damian Nicholls, Tony Mackenzie, Jason Lunn, Carlo, and all the others that I never got the chance to see was a big step up from what I could do, and I hope we do get to ride together some time :daumenhoch:

Lee and I are planning to visit together when conditions allow. We're both kind of struggling financially as of late but want more than anything to have a huge reunion blowout when we are finally able to commit to a schedule. I think I speak for both of us when I say that a U.K. get-together would be the most phenomenal occurrence imaginable right now. We just really want to show up together but ,alas, adulthood has it's fallbacks rendering us bare to happenstance. What I'm sure of, however, is the ongoing competition that will forever exist between Lee and I. So when we DO finally get to partake in a (surely) chaotic rendez-vous....you can be certain that the two of us will have come prepared.

another cool interview from a legend :daumenhoch:nice range of photos-forgot about 1/2 of them, lee's can can lookback were the best 8)

Thanks for the kind comments.
