Title: stripping paint from white dc mx1000

hi all was hopeing someone could give me any tips to how to remove the white paint from a dc mx 1000 caliper started to sand it but its gona take ages any one know whats best to use  :daumenhoch: thanks scott

Isn't good 'ol nitromors the product of choice here ?  ???

Nitromors everytime...  Dry sanding is a mugs game... lol

You wont have any scratches to deal with when stripped and you wont lose your fingerprints (unless you mess about with the Nitromors too much in which case you might lose more than your fingers).

Dont strip a white one. :'( :'(  Whites my favourite mx1000. :smitten:

I hope its a fooked white one. :)

I tried to strip a set of green MX1000s a few years ago & it was very very hard, nitromors would not touch it  :(

If Nitromors will not budge the paint on an MX. You can try permatex gasket remover, but do wear a mask!!  :daumenhoch:

oven cleaner might do it!!!
