Hi guys,
popped over to my closest, half decent park today as I had the day off work. Been meaning to get over to this park on Canvey Island for a while now but never had the nuts to do it. However, there was no-one over there, just in case I made myself look an arse!
Was a little damp over there today, but as I'd made the effort to get over there I stuck with it.
Must say I surprised myself. Was getting some basic aerials going, nothing too much, think i got above the coping maybe 3 or 4 times all in all, but it was really a chance to build some confidence up again. Managed to pop out of the top of the quarter pipe without too much hassle. Bit hairy first time but soon had it down like the old days.
So it's given me the confidence to try again and maybe push it a bit further!

I took the Quad out for a blast. It really did the job. Much better than the old bikes I used to use...

i ride there quite a bit when its dry its a nice park too cant wait till they finish it and put the box and quater wallride in and it needs a repaint getting slippery lol good park tho
maybe see you down there sometime

i nearly popped over there today aswell
as drove past it 3 times .but was late for me jobs on canvey
so didnt get the chance

brilliant. I bet you were grinning from ear to ear after getting back on the bike.
i remember coming out of retirement when I lived in Holland, and went to a little skatepark thing. great laugh, and it felt great getting back on a BMX.

nice one mate, wish i had the confidence to join the youngsters at my local park, keep having a look to see if anyone is there but its always got a bunch of lads on it, spoken to them a few times when taking luke to the race track, but dont fancy showing my self up tbh.
