Just about to put the rest of the bike together, but some :Aresehole: has questioned the Seat Grips combo. So what you think ? black grips or blue seat ??

Wardy yer a cvnt :-\ Tech 2s are not staying on, just there at the time :daumenhoch:

Black pads Paul ;)
toughie that one
I do like a bit of black
on my builds
It's cheaper to try black grips on first to see if it looks right , rather than get a blue Kashi
but it may have to be a blue Kashi
Get the the black grips on and post a pic with the chainwheel on too , cos that'll make a differeence with the black chainring
Great bike either way buddy :4_17_5:

tech iis are funny. :LolLolLolLol: :LolLolLolLol: :LolLolLolLol: :LolLolLolLol: :LolLolLolLol:
go black grips, then the tyres, seat and grips match.
i think you should have matching grips and seat, but hey, if you like the combo you've got stick with it.
the tech ii's would be okay fitted low on the bars, down below the bend.

Cheers Dubbs, got a crank coming Tuesday so will try the grips :daumenhoch:
Anyone got some Black goose grips they wanna trade ?? or Black n Blue Oakleys ::)

I'd say try black grips first too...
It's a difficult one because its all subjective, some people like blended colours and some people like contrast....and some bikes lend themselves more to one than the other (given fitted parts).
Given the amount of blue on the bike, to me the black seat looks out of place, but then if you fit a blue saddle there's no real contrast counterpoints (if you see what I mean) and it may just look too blue.
It can be a right pig (I know) when you've put so much effort into a build and it doesn't feel 'right'.
It is looking good tho...just that last 'thing' to do :daumenhoch:
Ray.

Black grips and different bars Paul to compensate for the use of the levers. :daumenhoch: But your buggered as they are mongoose bars. Drop the levers too. Tech 3's. ;)

Would rather have that Mk2 Dubbs, very nice
-
the grips and seat are at odds with each other...only two tone grips can brige the colour gap.
simple and best answer is put a blue kashi on it.
thats all it needs mate :daumenhoch:
-
that skyway 24" is just fooking lush
-
Id say black grips and a blue seat clamp, mount the levers in the right place below the cross bar and it will look sweet :)
As for that TA, get a black seat :LolLolLolLol: :LolLolLolLol: I know its not yours though ;D
and neither is the carrot :D
