Dan is the man!

oooooo i know a man that could make them like new ........................... not cheep though

who is this mystery man?
-
Just file the axle slot parallel and straight again, they dont look too deformed, i've sorted out worse than that before.
A nice big flat file should do it, dont go mental, just a little bit at a time and stop when it looks right.
-
Sell it to me and buy a good one :daumenhoch:

I reckon a gentle filing as suggested already would make them heaps better, otherwise depending on where you are Sawzall could be your man, not too expensive TBH though and anyone who is good with welding equipment should be able to fill in the washer marks for a few quid :daumenhoch:.
-
did it not come with original forks mate :'(
-
No sadly I never had forks or bars to go with it
-
My misses would have gone berserk is she'd seen that little lot on her minty cooker top...
-
She didn't know-all of a sudden it was an old frame I'd had for ages! :)

Yeah i agree ...they`re not that bad that they can`t be saved by your own fair hand and a file ... you`ll get get them nice and flat and square without losing too much from them , it won`t take very long either , and you`ll love it even more knowing you sorted it yourself ....it`ll look ace once Dan has worked his magic!! :daumenhoch: :daumenhoch: ,
Good Luck ,
Dave
